Martin Balcome is a seasoned entrepreneur, dedicated to the success of employees, clients and his community. In addition to leading Bridgewater TI, he is the CEO of BMI Ltd, a staffing and recruiting company and has served as President of EO Atlantic Canada, where he remains an active member. Martin also serves on the board of a local conservation group, MICA and spends his free time running a hobby farm and cycling.

Crystal has spent over 20 years in finance roles and has a wide breadth of experience in payroll, budgeting, financial analytics and compliance. Crystal held increasingly senior roles at a large multinational company before joining BMI Ltd in 2020. With deep analytic and payroll acumen, she leads the sales and talent integration team at Bridgewater TI and has built a financial center of excellence used by the BMI family of businesses.

Tara is an experienced and versatile professional with over 20 years of experience in various roles. She possesses expertise in accounting, payroll, and finance, continuously honing her skills to provide exceptional services to her clients. She will complete her Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) this summer and is actively working towards achieving her Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation which she is dedicated to completing in 2024. Tara joined Bridgewater TI in May 2021 to provide HR and payroll support to every client. When she's not hard at work, you'll likely find her outside, running or taking photographs around Nova Scotia

Caitlyn started her career as a pharmacy assistant and worked for over 14 years serving her community before shifting gears and joining BMI Ltd. as a receptionist in 2022. Her positive attitude, desire to learn and proactive nature was quickly noticed and she was tapped to join the growing Bridgewater TI team in early 2023. Caitlyn is working on her Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) accreditation and when she’s not working you’ll find her with a book in her hand or out enjoying nature, usually with her dog Marlin by her side.

Our Story

OnPayrollCanada.ca (OPC) was started in 2000 as a payroll provider and became a full service Professional Employer Organization (PEO) that served clients across the continent and the world. Acquired in 2020, they expanded their services into a more robust Employer of Record (EOR) offering. As a Canadian EOR, they are the employer of record for the client company and handle all legal and regulatory obligations related to employment, such as payroll, taxes, benefits contributions, and workers’ compensation insurance. They also offer assistance with employment contracts, onboarding, and termination. Bridgewater TI’s clients retain full control over an employee, providing day to day guidance, training and performance management.

As a member of NAPEO, they partner with many US PEO organizations to offer services for their clients looking to hire or expand into Canada. Headquartered in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada, OnPayroll Canada rebranded as Bridgewater Talent Integration in 2023 to better reflect the value and services provided to clients.
